We are joining food for the hungry, Trek for Hope Peru 2011 Aug. 30-Sept 10. Bob and I are passionate about the work that this organization is developing to benefit and strengthen the social structure for children, for adults, for families and for the community. The outreach will include education, health services including mental health, economic development and child protection.
The Hope for Peru Trek 2011 is raising funds to help alleviate domestic violence and strengthen family relationships in Lima, Peru. Through your financial support, Food for the Hungry will establish safe spaces through the Oikos Project in at risk communities.
We are honored to be joining food for the hungry in Peru, and we offer an invitation to join us in financial support of the work on behalf of the community in Lima. Opportunities include financial investment and sponsoring a child. Our team will visit many of the children who are sponsored!
all money contributed will benefit the project for building playgrounds, create safe spaces and supply needs to the community.
We are paying all of our travel and personal expenses.
