Hi Friends and Family, I am partnering with Tour de Force Bike Ride - Cycling for those that made the ultimate sacrifice! and raising money for 2017 Tour de Force Memorial Ride. This is my fifth year participating in the Tour de Force. The out pouring of support for this ride is amazing, from the support teams that help along the routes to the organizers who put this ride together. The Tour de Force is a great cause and I am very proud to be a part of it. I also ride in the memory of my cousin Peter Gay who was on one of the planes on 9/11. I am able to give back to those who serve and protect us day in and day out, and also keep those who have been lost in the line of duty and on 9/11's memories alive. We will never forget.
This year (2017) Tour de Force 15th annual 9/11 Memorial Ride will depart from Boston and cycle on to New York City after four days of riding and remembering those left behind.
The Tour de Force was founded in 2002 as a memorial bicycle ride to honor the victims of 9/11. It has evolved into a four day, 275 mile ride, in which 300 law enforcement officers from across the U.S. an abroad, along with some family and friends, participate to raise funds for the families of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. Each and every participant, support team member and staff, raise funds and put in a lot of work throughout the year to make this event a huge success.
Without the continued support from our generous supporters and their dedication to our cause, this event would not be possible. Thank you for making a special gift, that will enrich the lives of those left behind.
