Hi Friends and Family,

Thank you for taking the time to check out this page. 

This years fund raising is extra special, as my wife and I await the arrival of our little one very soon, it really pulls at my heart strings to be able to give back to the community that has given so much to me and so many others.

The Capoeira Arts Foundation has been a pillar in the east bay(and greater Bay Area) community for many years. Offering Winter/ Summer camps for kids workshops, talent shows, demonstrations, and of course community outreach and support through Capoeira, samba and rich Brazilian culture.

From helping and supporting Bay Area children/ at risk youth / and adults, to supporting an amazing community for at risk youth in Bahia Brazil as well.

Recently the foundation suffered an unfortunate loss of an ongoing grant for 16 years which was vital to both programs here in the Bay Area and in Brazil.

We are turning to the community to ask for help in any way possible, so that the Capoeira Arts Foundation and Projeto Kirimure (Brazil) programs and classes may continue until a new grant is obtained.

We will be hosting an event this weekend similar to a jog-a-thon only we will be playing capoeira. 

I'm asking for sponsorship in the play-a thon as all proceeds will be going towards helping The Capoeira Arts Foundation programs continue.

All donations are tax deductible as The Capoeira Arts Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization.
