Hi Friends and Family, I am partnering with the Capoeira Arts Foundation and raising money for the "2018 Capoeira Arts Foundation Roda-thon". For the past 40 years, Mestre Acordeon and UCA Berkeley have been pioneers for Capoeira in the United States. They have created a powerful legacy, inspired camaraderie, and supported a dynamic and beautiful community grounded in the Brazilian culture.  It is only as a result of the efforts of Mestre Acordeon and UCA Berkeley that I have been able to learn this art that I love called Capoeira. Due to the sudden loss of a $60,000 operating grant from a foundation that supported UCA Berkeley for 15 years they now are in need of help.  I cannot turn my back on an organization that has brought such joy and positivity to my life.  I am asking you to partner with me to help keep this organization running so that other people can experience the same thing I have. I sincerely appreciate your support for this fundraiser and my goal.
