On September 11th, 2021, I will be commemorating the 20th anniversary of the attacks that occurred on 9/11 by participating in the annual 9/11 Tour de Force charity bicycle ride. The Tour de Force was organized in 2002 by a couple of NYPD detectives who rode their bikes from the Pentagon to Ground Zero. Their mission was to honor the lives of the officers who paid the ultimate sacrifice on 09/11/01 and to raise money to assist the families. The ride has developed into a four-day ride with over 250 participants representing police and sheriff departments from across the country. This year’s ride will start on the morning of September 11th in Boston, MA and finish in NYC at Ground Zero on September 14th, totaling over 280 miles. The Tour de Force continues to honor the lives lost on 9/11, but also to provide money to the families of law enforcement who have paid the ultimate sacrifice across the country. This will be the 16th consecutive year that my father and I have participated in the TDF. Please help our cause by donating.
