This year, myself and several of my colleagues from the Queens Special Victims Squad will be participating in the Tour De Force. The 2023 Tour De Force is a 4 day, 280 mile bicycle ride through the Hudson Valley. This ride raises money for, and honors the families of Police Officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
The NYPD Queens Special Victims Squad will be riding in honor of our Brother, Detective Raymond Abear, who died in the line of duty on April 13, 2020. We have vowed to never forget Ray, and to always honor him. This ride is one more way for us to remember his service and sacrifice to the City of New York.
