I will be running in memory of my beautiful cousin Courtney Scott (1969-2018). A loving daughter, sister, cousin, wife and mother. An amazing athlete herself, she was incredibly strong in her fight against breast cancer. Courtney, you are so dearly missed.

I will also be running for one of my closest friends, Celia Rodriguez, who has been recently diagnosed with breast cancer. We love you so much Celia! 

ABOUT

The Annual Cheryl Diamond NYC 5K Cancer Schlep brings together hundreds of participants from all over the globe, ranging in ages 5 - 95 years old, bound together in solidarity to raise money & awareness for all battling breast, ovarian, and prostate cancers. These cancers are the most common cancers afflicting both men and women. The NYC 5K Cancer Schlep helps further breast, ovarian & prostate cancer awareness, research and treatment supporting a BRCA multi-disciplinary clinic in Israel. The 5K Cancer Schlep also supports research studies investigating breast, ovarian, and prostate cancers and BRCA mutation carriers.
