Hi Friends and Family,
As many of you know my baby boy Anthony was diagnosed with PDD-NOS at the age of 2. We were told he could not love us and that he would only use us for his needs. We were told that he would never speak. We were told so many things that as parents crushed our soul. Through hard work, sweat and lots of tears my baby boy has surpassed everyone’s expectations. He is verbal, he is academically superior to most children his age and he truly does love us. Though he has come along way he struggles with daily social interactions. I don’t know what the future holds for my son but I do know that more funding for research is needed. Not to “cure” or “fix” kids with Autism but to catch up to them and learn how to work in their world.
I am partnering with the Autism Community Walk and Resource Fair 2018 to and raise money for advocacy, research and outreach for autism and related developmental disabilities. The event will be held on Saturday, October 20, at Belmont Lake State Park in Babylon, NY, Exit 38 on the Southern State Parkway. All are welcome. I sincerely appreciate your support for this fundraiser and my goal. You can donate now and by hitting “Give Now” on the upper right.
You can give with any major credit card and it only takes 30 seconds. I appreciate it so very much.
Thank you for joining me!
