If you know me at all, you know i love training; It is a passion of mine. I always did a little workout but not much with working as a server and raising my two daughters, Olivia and Juliet. But, when I came in to San Diego I quickly joined the Blind Stokers Club (BSC) in November 2012. I was never a cyclist just rode bikes for fun back home in New York. One month into cycling my great captain, Sabine, and I were training for the 55 mile route for the Tour de Palm Springs; 55 miles, oh my gosh. I remember after completing the P.S. ride i slept soundly on the car drive home. And that’s when my passion for cycling began. With the BSC, we have been introduced to so many others within the club and outside the club. We rolled out with Team Sea to See in the Race Across America last summer. They were the first blind tandem relay team to complete RAAM, from coast to coast. What a dream! It is such a great community. The club is like my family and the cycling community are my best friends. Please, help me raise money for the San Diego Center for the Blind. They educate and support adults who have recently lost their eyesight. Also, come on out and join us on one of our terrific rides. I would love to introduce you to everyone. Thank you so much for your donation. Sincerely, Carol Corcoran
Your tax deductible donation will stay in San Diego, to provide training and counseling to blind and vision-impaired adults in the region.
