Hi Friends and Family, I am partnering with Crossroads Church and raising money for Royal Family Kids Camp 2024. This will be my FORTH year going on this local mission trip. I am forever changed because of it. I am what we call a LIFER, I will go every year God willing.

Royal Family Kids Camp (RFKC) is an outreach that ministers to children from the foster care system who have experienced many types of abuse and neglect. This camp provides 5 full days of fun and connection for these kids who often do not receive love and support from any other source. Dedicated volunteers give their time and resources to make this camp a lasting memory for hundreds of kids on an annual basis.

The only agenda the staff has for the week is to show the children the love of Christ and create positive memories for them. Each day consists of camp activities like fishing, archery, beauty shop, petting zoo, swimming, bible stories, worship, and so much more.

There is also a tea party, glow party, polar bear plunge, and a giant birthday party for all the campers because many have never had one. All the children are sent home with gifts, a Bible, handmade quilt, and a memory book containing photos of them during the week.

Throughout the week they are taught that God is always with them, nothing can separate them from the love of God, and that when times are hard they can always look to Him. This safe and loving concept is planted in their hearts to stay with them always.

I sincerely appreciate your support for this fundraiser and my goal. $700 covers the cost of myself as a counselor and 1 child between the ages of 6-12 years old to go to Camp. Prayerfully considered, I would like to raise triple $2,100, to have the opportunity for someone else to attend Camp who might not have the means to fundraise, also allowing more children to come.
