In 2016 I had an awesome opportunity to backpack 75 miles with 75 people while raising money to build a FULLY wheelchair accessible home for a severely wounded veteran. It was an amazing experience, and I'm hoping to do the same thing in 2018.
We will be each raising 2,000. Or more (hint, hint) and picking up where we left off on The Colorado Trail in 2016. ALL of the money, and I do mean all if it, goes to the cause. Operation Nine line is an all volunteer organization.
I've always had the utmost respect for our service men and women, and last year, I had the opportunity to hike with some of these amazing folks. The truth is, we can never give enough back to the people who choose to leave their families and face things us civilians can only imagine. But taking care of our most severely wounded veterans, where our government is failing them... its a good start.
I have some amazingly wonderful and generous friends, and I WILL shout every single one of you out on Social media (unless you ask me not to).
Please consider giving, even $5 will help!
Plus its the end of the year, and y'all might need to donate for tax purposes!
As I have have spent a lot of my years broke, I understand some of you cannot give. So if you cannot afford it, but still want to help, please pass this along.
Thank you so much for joining me on this journey!
I love you all, and you RULE!
