SPAIN: SUSTAINABILITY: ACT LOCALLY FOR GLOBAL CHANGE 

Highlighting the work of organizations such as Sunseed Desert Technology comes at a critical time, as we head towards a 'tipping point' in the future health of our planet. While man's impact has devastating environmental effects on many areas of our world, this project is educating our future generation; on growing food, protecting the soil, harvesting the sun, and furthering the mission of sustainability for the betterment of the planet.

Sunseed is in an off-grid, remote, ancient Andalucian village in the semi-arid desert of Southern Spain. Filming and photography of their research and development of eco-construction, renewable energy technologies, permaculture gardening, biodegradable products, wild foraging, and water management, will help to amplify Sunseed's voice, and tell the story of their community and educational activities to promote sustainable living, organic gardening and ecosystem restoration.

Your donation will help advance Sunseed's practical work to promote Sustainable Living, Organic Gardening, Eco-maintenance, and Earth Education. This includes the use of solar energy, self-sufficiency in terms of food growth, protection of the soil from erosion, promotion of a vegetarian diet, and the use of low impact technology. 

Nancy is donating her time to this work. This funding will help to pay for assignment costs, and help cover expenses such as flights, insurance, visas, and vaccinations.

Can you help our photographer and videographer, Nancy Roach, share the story of a community in Sorbas, Almeria, Spain, that teaches the values of community involvement in growing food, protecting the soil and land, and educating youth on these essential practices for a greener future for all?
