Dear Beloved Friends and Family of Joshua, Lori, Jonas and Hadassah Plaut,

Hadassah Yanich Plaut, mother of Joshua Plaut and grandmother of Jonas Plaut, twice was faced with breast cancer and twice she overcame this horrible disease. We are sure you remember Hadassah or have heard about her battle to beat back and prevail over her breast cancer. Hadassah liked to say that every day is Mother’s Day. The fifth of the tenth commandments bids us to honor our mothers and fathers, and this is why we established the NYC 5K Schlep ten years ago, to honor her memory and to support breast and ovarian cancer care in Israel.
