At the age of 12, Evan was diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukemia. With his whole family by his side, he sought treatment over a 25-month period at four different internationally known medical institutions across the United States. As he bravely battled cancer in all of these various settings and circumstances, Evan continued to homeschool and excel in most everything he did while maintaining a positive attitude and an eternal perspective on life. Once a person met Evan, their life was changed forever and for the better. He went home to be with the Lord in the fall of 2012. He is always in our hearts and on our minds!
