Hi Friends and Family, I am partnering with Children's Cancer Network and raising money for Run to Fight Children's Cancer 2019. I sincerely appreciate your support for this fundraiser and my goal. You can donate now and by hitting “Give Now” on the upper right.
Last year we had recently received news of my niece's cancer when we participated with this walk. A year later and she is classified as in remission and in the phase "maintenance cycle 2" she will be on chemo for another 13 months out of 26 total.
Thank you in advance for your support!

Last year, a precious 6 year old girl was diagnosed with cancer. She has come so far in the last year and has shown her Aunt Jess what true strength means! Here is a recap of everything that has gone on over the last year:
"Overall, things have gone fairly well this last year. Perhaps the hardest part of this past year has been settling into a new normal. Bethany has been taking chemo every day, including driving to Mott Children's Hospital, nearly 3 hours from home, once a month for treatments. There certainly have been challenges along the way, but through it all, Bethany's spirit has been strong, and her body has responded exactly as it needs to. The doctors have been amazed at both how well she has responded to the treatments and at how she has tolerated the treatments. We thank everybody for the amazing encouragement this past year, and ask that you would continue praying as we watch God continue to bring healing."-Elizabeth
Beth has shared the dream of starting her own bakery to bake treats for the patients, families, and hospital staff at her Children's hospital to bring them joy and comfort of her own!

Many have asked how we got the name THE ICECREAMS! :) Beth was 6 when she received the news she had cancer. At age 6, who doesn't want to have a team named The Ice creams!? When Beth started attending Dr. appointments for her treatments, her mother used the bribe of ice cream telling Beth if she was brave at the doctors, they would get ice cream on the way home. On top of that, Beth had just made a move from Indiana to Michigan at the beginning of summer and had no AC to begin with so she ate tons of ice cream.....For Beth, Ice cream is high on her happy list!! Needless to say there was no surprise when we asked her to name our team what her response was However, by having such an unique name we have been able to share her story with many different people who ask for the story behind it and about the brave girl who is going through something no child should have to go through!
