2017 Tour de Force Memorial Ride

Boston, MA - New York, NY (Ground Zero) Learn More

My name is Technician Bob Ferretti of the Greenwich Police Firearms Department. In 2002 Police Detectives from the Bronx, NY decided to complete a four-day endurance cycling event in memory of those killed on September 11, 2001, called the Tour de Force (TDF). This year the Tour de Force bicycle ride will begin in Boston, MA and end in New York City at Ground Zero.

The Tour de Force's mission is two-fold:

1. To honor the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks by keeping their memory alive through cycling events

2. To raise money and awareness nationwide for police officers and families who are killed in the line of duty

This will be my 13th year riding for the Tour De Force which gives me a great sense of accomplishment and commitment to the families of our fallen officers. All cyclists are required to raise money, and I am asking you once again to donate to this worthy cause.
