Hi Friends and Family,

When I was a preschool teacher in Brooklyn I met a most adorable, little boy who captured my heart with his sensitivity and sweet disposition. It soon became apparent that Xander was struggling with a disability, some days he wouldn't eat, he repeated phrases to us, he heard noises and sounds which disturbed him, he isolated himself and the list goes on. My heart was broken as I realized that Xander, most likely, was autistic. Upon evaluation, my suspicions were confirmed, yet his dear parents struggled with this realization. I could see that Xander would have benefited tremendously from a holistic approach, however, the parents were not aware of this. I found Documenting Hopeand pointed the parents towards this wonderful website. I made it my mission to help spread the positive and uplifting stories that come from this wonderful site. There is hope for our little ones and there is hope for their parents. Each year, I try to raise awareness and raise a few bucks for this worthy cause. Kindly give from your heart because there are a lot of little "Xanders" out there who need their parents to hear and see this good news. I thank you in advance for your help and support.

I am partnering with the Autism Community Walk and Resource Fair 2019 to and raise money for advocacy, research and outreach for autism and related developmental disabilities. The event will be held on Saturday, October 20, at Belmont Lake State Park in Babylon, NY, Exit 38 on the Southern State Parkway. All are welcome. I sincerely appreciate your support for this fundraiser and my goal. You can donate now and by hitting “Give Now” on the upper right.

You can give with any major credit card and it only takes 30 seconds. I appreciate it so very much.

Thank you for joining me!
