Clark Blakeman Memorial Fund
Clark Blakeman was the Servant Teams Director at Lahash International for the last three years. On December 21, he stepped into the next life to be with Jesus after a battle with cancer. He will be greatly missed by his wife Cathy, his four adult children, the hundreds of friends he ministered alongside over the years as well as the thousands of people impacted by his extraordinary life of service and love. His wife Cathy has requested that gifts given in his honor be directed toward the Servant Teams program to continue the legacy of preparing young people for a life of discipleship and service. You can read more about his time of service with Lahash and see photos of his ministry on this tribute page. You can read Clark's obituary here.
About the Servant Teams:
The Servant Teams program develops diverse leaders for local and global missions. It is a one-year program that begins with several months of theological study, service projects, and discipleship in Portland, Oregon. The second portion of the Servant Teams program is lived out in Tanzania. There the team comes alongside the local church to learn practical service and outreach strategies from East African Christians. Finally the team returns to Portland for a few weeks of debrief. You can read more about the Servant Teams program here.
