Since 1979, The Skin Cancer Foundation has educated millions of people about the dangers of unprotected UV exposure and the need for daily sun protection. Despite the great strides we've made, skin cancer remains the world's most common cancer; this year alone, 5.4 million cases in over 3.3 million people will be diagnosed in the United States. We have a lot of work to do, and we need your help. As we observe Skin Cancer Awareness Month, we ask that you please help us fund lifesaving education programs by making a donation or starting your own fundraiser in support of the Foundation.

Your donation will help support:

  • Destination: Healthy Skin, our traveling skin cancer screening program.
  • Sun Smart U, an interactive education program geared toward middle school and high school students.
  • Research grants which provide annual funding for research and clinical studies related to skin cancer.
  • Community initiatives like Heads Up!, a program where dermatologists teach hairstylists about skin cancer warning signs so they can give clients a “heads up” if they see a suspicious mole.

Without the continued support of donors like you, these programs simply wouldn’t be possible. Thank you for making a special gift which will help us save lives.
