Thank you to all the Paddle Boarders, Kayakers, Volunteers and Supporters who came out Saturday morning to bring awareness to the #1 medical complication of pregnancy and childbirth – perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (including postpartum depression), and to raise funds for the essential programs and services of the Postpartum Resource Center of New York!

Fundraising for this event continues until August 31, 2017, so, please donate in support of those who participated or for the event itself.

Please join our event Co-Chairs, Lindsay and Joe Kasenchak, with helping to break the silence for pregnancy and postpartum depression/anxiety awareness by participating in the first Sounds of Silence Paddle Out event – a 3 mile (total distance out/back) paddle out into the Great South Bay and back starting from Gilbert Park in Brightwaters, New York.

By participating in this fun event you are helping change the lives of thousands of New Yorkers facing urgent needs that come from experiencing the number one medical complication related to pregnancy – the devastating illness of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), including postpartum depression and postpartum psychosis.
