The Tour de Force was founded in 2002 as a memorial bicycle ride to honor the victims of 9/11. It has evolved into a four day, 275 mile ride, in which 300 law enforcement officers from across the U.S. an abroad, along with some family and friends, participate to raise funds for the families of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. Each and every participant, support team member and staff, raise funds and put in a lot of work throughout the year to make this event a huge success.
Without the continued support from our generous supporters and their dedication to our cause, this event would not be possible. Thank you for making a special gift, that will enrich the lives of those left behind.
In 2011 the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department lost one of our own officers in the line of duty. After his death, the Tour De Force donated money in honor of Detective John Falcone to his family. They continue to support the families of Law Enforcement Officers who are killed in the line of duty each year.
This is my second year participating in the Tour. Thank you for taking the time to visit this page. Any donation that you can make to this cause would be greatly appreciated by myself and my teammates as well as those families who are helped by the Tour de Force each year. Thank you!
