Attention Family and Friends and any one else wishing to contribute...
This will be the second year I will be participating in a ride of a lifetime...
Please help me raise money for this incredible cause...for all the families of first responders who paid the ultimate sacrifice on 9/11 AND NOW MOST IMPORTANTLY FOR ALL FAMILIES OF OUR NATION'S POLICE OFFICERS THAT HAVE LOST THEIR LIVES, IN THE LINE OF DUTY, WHILE PROTECTING OUR COMMUNITIES.
I will be biking close to 300 miles from Boston, Massachussetts to New York City, Ground Zero, beginning on September 9th and concluding the 12th in New York City. As some of you may know.. my father, Leon Couture was a D.C. Police officer when I was only a few years old. He was shot during a bank robbery while off duty and was very luck to survive his injury. I can only imagine the difficulty my family would have endured.. not only emotionally but financially if he had not survived. This is why this cause is so important to me personally. Please view the video on this page as well as continuing to read below the history and story behind this great event....THANK YOU in advance for contributing and supporting my ride for their families. My best, Lee
The Tour de Force was founded in 2002 as a memorial bicycle ride to honor the victims of 9/11. It has evolved into a four day, 285 mile ride, in which 300 law enforcement officers from across the U.S. an abroad, along with some family and friends, participate to raise funds for the families of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. Each and every participant, support team member and staff, raise funds and put in a lot of work throughout the year to make this event a huge success.
Without the continued support from our generous supporters and their dedication to our cause, this event would not be possible. Thank you for making a special gift, that will enrich the lives of those left behind. You can donate now and by hitting “Give Now” on the upper right.
You can give with any major credit card and it only takes 30 seconds. I appreciate it so very much.
Thank you for joining me!
