The Tour de Force was founded in 2002 as a memorial bicycle ride to honor the victims of 9/11. In 2007, my family became friends with a very special family who lost a husband/father on September 11, 2011. The ride has evolved into a four day, 275 mile ride, in which 300 law enforcement officers from across the U.S. an abroad, along with some family and friends, participate to raise funds for the families of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. Each and every participant, support team member and staff, raise funds and put in a lot of work throughout the year to make this event a huge success. My husband is a retired New York State Correction Officer and I am honored to participate in the 2017 Tour de Force Memorial Ride as part of the support team. This is my third year volunteering with the support team. Without the continued support from our generous supporters and their dedication to our cause, this event would not be possible. Thank you for making a special gift, that will enrich the lives of those left behind. Any donation is welcome and greatly appreciated!
