On September 24th and 25th I'll be cycling 150 miles for The Freedom Ride 2016, to raise funds to fight and end human trafficking. Money raised from this event will support our non-profit partners engaged in the fight against human trafficking. The Freedom Project is a 501C3 who's mission is to raise awareness about human trafficking and move people to action in their own communities.
Human trafficking is a $32 Billion a year industry and the world’s fastest-growing criminal enterprise. In the US human trafficking has been reported in all 50 states as well as nearly every country in the world. An estimated 26% of modern day slaves are children. 22% of modern slaves are in the Sex Industry.
